Capitol Boat Club has carefully selected a variety of quality boats for our fleet. We pride ourselves on providing the newest, cleanest, and best-maintained rental boats Madison has to offer. Rentals and charters are open to the public – no membership required.

Choose from our fleet of late model pontoon and deck boats with powerful 90 or 115hp motors. All boats are equipped with necessary safety equipment as well as modern features that’ll provide the perfect day on the water!

    Our captains are WI boater safety certified and know all the best spots on the lake. Choose from multiple pick-up locations.

    Our foam floating water mats hold up to 7 adults and are perfect for your kids and friends to play, run, and relax in the water.

  • CANCELLATION: We’ll collect a $100 deposit now and the rest on the day of your outing. Deposits are non-refundable unless outings are canceled by Capitol Boat Club due to rain or high winds. Cancellations within 48 hours of reservation result in the full amount being charged except when canceled by Capitol Boat Club for inclement weather.

  • DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: All drivers must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid boater’s safety certificate. To get certified, it takes about one hour to complete the WI Safety Course Online.

  • LOCATION: Unless booking a captained charter departing from elsewhere, all rentals are located on Pier 5 at Mariner’s Inn (5339 Lighthouse Bay Dr.)

  • ADD-ONS: Due to liability and insurance reasons, our captains are not permitted to pull a tube for guests.

  • RESTRICTIONS: All boats are limited to the listed capacity and weight restrictions. There is NO SMOKING, NO GRILLING, and NO PETS allowed onboard.
